Pay: £6.00phOne of the best festivals in the country for families with young children, Bestival's sister festival - Camp Bestival - returns in 2010 from Friday 30th July to Sunday 1st August, the first week of the school summer holidays, at the picturesque setting of Lulworth Castle, set against the backdrop of England's dramatic Jurassic coastline in Dorset.

Saturday headliners Madness and Sunday headliner Friendly Fires, lead a line-up of acts that includes The Human League, George Clinton And Funkadelic/Parliament, Marc Almond, Billy Bragg, The Blockheads, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Icebreaker feat BJ Cole, Chas And His Band, Example, The Wurzels, Calvin Harris, Chipmunk, Lee Scratch Perry, The Cuban Brothers, Martin Carthy & Dave Swarbrick, James Yorkston, Stornoway, Beth Jeans Houghton, Gold Panda, and Countryside Alliance.

Pay: £6.00phThe Tall Ships' Races are an internationally acclaimed annual competition organised by Sail Training International and held every summer in European waters. Each year between 70 and 100 vessels from 15-20 countries, crewed by some 5-6,000 young people from over 30 countries worldwide take part in this unique event that combines four days of activities in each port with racing or cruising-in-company between ports.

Already sold out, this is a new event for us this year. The festival has grown from strength to strength over the last few years, having to move site last year to accomodate the growing numbers.
